Landscapes that I Get Lost in
Every morning I took a walk between the winyards. I felt the morning chill on my skin, listened to the songs and different languages of the birds, I watched how the wind moved the grass slowly and then watched how the sun rose behind the mountains and saw how shadows and colors changed over the trees. I felt so happy to be in this vastness.
The Nature of Aguarón made me feel to get lost in Nature and be more of myself. I wanted to depict these feelings through my watercolors. Then colors, the brush strokes weren’t enough to tell the whole story, so I added words, sentences or even a poem with letter stamps. As an artist who normally works alone, I collaborated on 2 of the 6 watercolors with a photographer and a poet Ainara García. She wrote a poem of 3 verses and gave me an idea of words. I loved the idea of merging two different disciplines and so the art that came out made me feel richer. Thanks to her beautiful words.
Watercolor paintings were exhibited on the ground in between the legs of hand-made tree installation.
