Site specific installation in the Sierra de Aracena Natural Park (Andalusia, Spain).
15 sheets of handmade cotton paper from India, land and menerals collected in thepark of Sierra de Aracena, natural land of Gargano (Puglia, Italy) and white and blue pigment. The tree, a sacred element from the most primitive civilizations, carries within itself the symbolism linked to the connection between earth and sky: almost like a totem wants to bring the earthly world closer to the divine one, the profane to the sacred, the human to the transcendent. The oak in particular, a sacred tree for the Celts, is a symbol of our existential path. The circles of paper that evoke the blue of the sky, go to indicate the path of the tree: those that might seem like steps, want to emphasize our life path by exhorting us first of all to take root with the earth and then to rise towards the spiritual world looking to the sky, because skies on skies are available for our flight.
